March 17, 2021

Plano, Texas (March 16, 2021) – Jason Phillips, CEO and President of Phillips Home Improvements, is proud to be selected as the newest board member for Better Business Bureau Serving North Central Texas. Phillips was chosen as a finalist two years running in the coveted BBB Torch Award for Ethics and in 2019 won the esteemed award in the Small Business category. Phillips enjoyed the privilege of judging the 2020 North Central Texas Torch Award entries and was refreshed by the entrants’ and selection committee’s commitment to ethical practices, performance management practices, treasuring people and community investment displayed throughout the selection process.

Enthusiastic about serving on the local BBB Board of Directors, Jason remarked, “I’m anxious to invest more deeply in the community and influence local businesses, especially those in the home improvement sector. I want to share what we’ve learned over Phillips Home Improvement’s 24 years in business, so others can reach success more quickly, avoid common pitfalls and see that it’s possible to advance business without sacrificing ethics. I’m also excited to draw more attention to the good work done by the BBB and encourage membership in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.”

BBB Serving North Central Texas has been helping people throughout the Dallas and Wichita Falls areas find businesses they trust for 100 years. Their offices serve over 6,000 accredited businesses in 29 counties. In 2020 alone, consumers turned to the BBB over 10 million times for information on North Central Texas businesses, service quote requests, dispute resolution, advertising and trade practice investigations. “I’m honored to be part of this long-respected organization and plan to advance its mission of helping consumers and elevating business practice for years to come,” added Phillips.
