1) Color Consultation

Choosing the right color and finish is critical when painting the exterior of your home. Not all colors work well together or compliment your gutters and roof equally. Our project consultants help you select the best colors and finishes for your needs.

2) Power washing

Power Washing is a critical step in the painting process. We power wash with TSP (trisodium phosphate), to loosen dirt and debris from your soon-to-be-painted surfaces, creating a clean palette for the paint to adhere to.

What to Expect

• A clean exterior ready for prep work.
• Delicate areas washed carefully by hand.
• Scheduled in advance of painting.
• Rotten wood may be uncovered and need to be replaced (added on to your project). To ensure excellent adhesion and long wear, we never paint over compromised surfaces.

3) Scraping, Priming and Minor Repairs

Scraping and priming helps the paint “grab onto” the surface to which it’s applied, creating a better finish. Prep work helps reduce peeling and bubbles, and protects your exterior base.
