Phillips Home Improvements Texas Rangers Game Sweepstakes
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY FOR ENTRY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. SPONSOR
The Phillips Home Improvements Texas Rangers Game Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Phillips Home Improvements (“Sponsor”), located at 204 S Ash Dr., Allen, Texas 75002.
This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated or affiliated with, the Texas Rangers, Major League Baseball, Facebook, Instagram, or any other platform used to promote this Sweepstakes. This is a private sweepstakes promotional offer offered by Phillips Home Improvements to our clients under the terms outlined in this offer.
2. ELIGIBILITY
The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the state of Texas who are 18 years or older, own and reside in a single-family home within the Dallas Ft. Worth Metroplex within Phillips Home Improvements’ service area at the time of entry.
The following individuals are NOT eligible for entry of this sweepstakes:
- Employees, officers, and directors of Phillips Home Improvements;
- Immediate family members (spouses, parents, siblings, and children) of employees, officers, and directors of Phillips Home Improvements;
- Vendors, contractors, and/or family members associated or in a business relationship with Phillips Home Improvements;
- Advertising, marketing, and/or production companies involved and/or associated with Phillips Home Improvements in the promotion;
- Individuals who do not meet the homeownership and residency requirements as stated above.
- All federal, state, and local laws apply. Void where prohibited.
3. SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY PERIOD
The Sweepstakes begins on February 15, 2025 at 12:00 AM CST and ends on March 15, 2025 at 11:59 PM CST (“Sweepstakes Period”). Entries submitted before or after this period will not be eligible.
4. HOW TO ENTER
Each household may enter once per entry method (e.g., one mail-in entry OR one consultation-based entry). Multiple entries using the same method will be disqualified.
A. AUTOMATIC ENTRY VIA HOME IMPROVEMENT PROPOSAL OR PROJECT CONTRACT
Eligible individuals will receive entries as follows:
- Scheduling and completing a FREE home improvement consultation/demonstration = 5 entries;
- Contract execution and fulfillment of a home improvement project by Phillips Home Improvements = 10 entries.
B. FREE ALTERNATE METHOD OF ENTRY (AMOE)
To enter without scheduling a consultation or executing a contract:
- Handwrite your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email on a 3″ x 5″ index card;
- Mail it in a stamped envelope to: Phillips Home Improvements – Sweepstakes Entry 204 S Ash Dr, Allen, TX 75002
Mail-in entries must be postmarked by March 11, 2025, and received by March 15, 2025, to be eligible. Each valid mail-in entry counts as one (1) entry.
C. ENTRY VALIDATION REQUIREMENTS
All entries will and must be validated via phone call with a Phillips Home Improvements representative. Before the drawing, all entries must:
- Be 18 years or older, own and reside in a single-family home within the Dallas Ft. Worth Metroplex within Phillips Home Improvements’ service area at the time of entry.;
- Provide accurate contact information for winner verification.
Failure of validation of an entry will result in the entry disqualification.
5. PRIZE
One (1) winner will receive: 🎟 Two (2) digital tickets to the Boston Red Sox at Texas Rangers Game at Globe Life Field in Arlington,Texas on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 7:05 PM CST.
- Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $500;
- No cash equivalent, prize substitution, or transfer of the prize is permitted;
- The winner must be 18 years or older, own and reside in a single-family home within the Dallas Ft. Worth Metroplex within Phillips Home Improvements’ service area at the time of entry;
- The winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes. If the prize value exceeds $600, the winner must complete a W-9 form and will receive a 1099-MISC tax form for tax reporting purposes.
📌 Tickets will be emailed to the email address provided and validated at the time of entry to the winner at least 5 days before the game.
6. WINNER SELECTION & ODDS
- The live random drawing will be conducted on or about March 19, 2025, from all eligible and validated entries received;
- The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible and validated entries received;
- The drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor: Phillips Home Improvements;
- The potential winner will be notified via phone call, text message, and email within 5 business days of the drawing.
7. WINNER NOTIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS
The chosen winner of the live random drawing must:
- Respond to the winning notification within 48 hours.
- Sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and Publicity Release within 7 days of the winning notification.
If the original winner does not respond within 48 hours, is ineligible or fails to complete verification, an alternate winner will be selected via a new random drawing.
- The winner notification & requirements apply as stated above.
8. RELEASE
By entry and/or receiving any prize, the winner agrees to release and hold harmless Phillips Home Improvements and all subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, vendors, contractors, prize suppliers, advertising agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any liability, including but not limited to:
- Personal injury, death, property damage, or loss arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt/use/misuse of any prize.
9. PUBLICITY
By participating in the Sweepstakes, the winner consents to Phillips Home Improvements and its agents using their name, likeness, photograph, video, home photos, opinions, and hometown for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
10. GENERAL CONDITIONS
Sponsor reserves the right to:
- Cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes due to fraud, technical failures, or other circumstances beyond its control;
- Disqualify any participant found tampering with the entry process, violating rules, or behaving in an unsportsmanlike manner;
- Seek damages to the fullest extent of the law for anyone attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes;
- Contact participants via phone or email to validate entries and notify them of future promotions.
11. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
The Released Parties are not responsible for:
- Incorrect or inaccurate entry information;
- Technical failures (malfunctions, interruptions, disconnections);
- Unauthorized human intervention or fraud;
- Technical/human errors in the administration of the Sweepstakes;
- Injuries or damages resulting from participation or use of the prize.
If any entry is lost, deleted, or corrupted, Sponsor may, at its discretion, allow re-entry. If the Sweepstakes is discontinued for any reason, a random drawing will be held among eligible entries received up to that date.
12. PRIVACY STATEMENT
By entering, you consent to Phillips Home Improvements collecting and using your personal information for:
- Administering the Sweepstakes;
- Future marketing communications.
Your information will not be sold to third parties. Entrants may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
13. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
This Sweepstakes is governed by Texas law. Any disputes must be resolved individually in the appropriate courts located in Collin County, Texas. Participants waive the right to a jury trial or class action.
